Rapper and Singer Paul Russell Delights Children at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein

Paul Russell, rapper and singer, delighted children and their loved ones at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein with his song “Lil Boo Thang,” dance, conversation, and a personally autographed photo.

“Being able to spread joy somewhere like Montefiore Einstein is something that I’m passionate about,” said Russell, whose hit song, “Lil Boo Thang” rocked to success on TikTok over the summer.

Russell visited hospital floors to meet as many children as possible, taking time to engage in conversation with patients and their families as well. He autographed his photo as keepsakes for the children.

Russell even got a lesson from social worker Denise Velazquez, MSW, in the TikTok dance that rocketed his song to fame.
