Elaine E. Schulte, MD, MPH, Vice Chair, Academic Affairs and Faculty Development, Medical Director, Adoption Program, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, and Professor, Pediatrics, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, received the Distinguished Alumna Award from Albany Medical College Alumni Association during its reunion weekend in April, where she presented a lecture, “Coaching: Rediscovering Meaning in Medicine.” She was recognized for her work serving as a physician to children of domestic and international adoptions and is one of the country’s foremost adoption specialists.
