ASTHMAXcel PRO: A Novel Algorithmic Software Tool to Help Manage Asthma

Montefiore Einstein is seeking adult volunteers for a research study regarding a software tool to help manage asthma. ASTHMAXcel PRO is a mobile app for adults with asthma that provides asthma education and tips on how to improve asthma control. It is available to study participants on all iOS and Android devices (smartphones and tablets). The app also collects and helps you track asthma symptoms over time via in-app end of chapter questions (such as intensity of shortness of breath, etc.) as well as weekly notifications. Physicians will be notified of their patient’s symptoms via quarterly summaries/dashboard.
