Michael B. Prystowsky, MD

Michael B. Prystowsky, MD, PhD, is a Professor and the Chair of Pathology at Montefiore Einstein. A New Jersey native, Dr. Prystowsky earned a doctorate in biomedical sciences at the City University of New York at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in biochemistry at Rockefeller University. Then came an MD from the University of Chicago and a pathology residency there. After a decade at the University of Pennsylvania, he came here in 1993, rising to the position of department chair in 1995.
