New Hampshire native, Barbara Higgins, turned to Montefiore Einstein’s  Dr. Eskandar to treat 3 brain tumors.   At 57, she gave birth, again.

Not long after losing her child to a brain tumor, Barbara Higgins found out that she had 3 brain tumors.  She was referred to Montefiore Einstein’s Dr. Emad Eskandar, Chair of Neurological Surgery and the Director of Epilepsy and Facial Pain Centers at Montefiore Einstein.

Barbara and her family credit Dr. Eskandar and his neurosurgery team for saving her life and giving her the opportunity to continue on the next miraculous chapter of her life’s journey, giving birth to her son, Jack, at 57.
