Three completely renovated facilities have transformed the Montefiore New Rochelle campus.
With expanded emergency department facilities, an upgraded radiology department and the new Montefiore Medical Group New Rochelle Health Center, the five-year expansion plan was a major investment in serving the healthcare needs of the New Rochelle community.
The $44.3 million, state-funded campus project was called a win for healthcare accessibility in the area.

"Today we reaffirm Montefiore's commitment to advance the health of the community it serves," said Dr. Philip O. Ozuah, President and Chief Executive Officer of Montefiore Medicine, at the opening celebration.
The emergency department upgrade includes eight private observation rooms, a trauma treatment area, 21 patient bays, four private patient rooms and a private behavioral health treatment area.

New MRI and CT scanners are at the heart of the upgraded radiology suite. Working with RadPartners, a national radiology practice, scans can now be read 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a result, patients can be diagnosed more quickly, a boon to the hospital and area faculty practice offices.
Montefiore Medical Group Health Center is a complete overhaul of the former Montefiore New Rochelle clinic. The 25,000-square-foot facility provides pediatric and adult care along with other healthcare services.
