Montefiore Einstein welcomes Deepa Rastogi, MD, MS, MBBS, who joins the faculty as the Division Chief of Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein.
Dr. Rastogi’s expertise lies in pediatric asthma, with her clinical focus on underserved children with severe asthma. She is interested in improving the quality of life for these children and their families by providing the highest quality care and discovering the reasons for the high disease burden in this population. Her research involves investigating the contributions of healthcare provider and caregiver practices and co-existing morbidities, such as childhood obesity, to childhood asthma. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
