Montefiore Einstein welcomes Jared C. Gelbs, MD, who joins Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist.
At Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein, Dr. Gelbs will treat patients from infancy to early adulthood for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory, allergic, nutritional, and feeding and functional disorders, with a particular emphasis on celiac disease. His clinical research also centers around celiac disease, as he has investigated it at the single-cell level with a focus on the T-cell response in these patients.
Dr. Gelbs is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
