Laura Butler, MMHC, FNP-BC, Associate Vice President, Transplant Services, Elected by a Nationwide Vote to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Board of Directors

Laura Butler, MMHC, FNP-BC, Associate Vice President, Transplant Services, Montefiore Einstein, has been elected to serve on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) board of directors. UNOS board members are elected by a nationwide vote of the entire membership. As a member of the 19-person volunteer board, Butler will help oversee UNOS’ mission, including strategizing ways to ensure all patients have equitable access to transplants and improving the success of lifesaving transplants. This honor highlights the excellence Butler and Montefiore Einstein uphold as leaders in transplantation. Butler’s three-year term will begin in July 2023.
