Sangita K. Jindal, PhD, Elected President of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology

Sangita K. Jindal, PhD, Professor, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health (Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility), Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Lab Director, Montefiore’s Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health, recently was elected President of the prestigious Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). Dr. Jindal is active on several national committees of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and she most recently served as national President for the Society for Reproductive Biologists and Technologists (SRBT). Dr. Jindal assumes her new role as President of SART in October. She is the third PhD to hold the office, which more typically goes to a medical doctor.
