Philip O. Ozuah, MD, PhD, President and CEO, Montefiore Einstein, joined other healthcare leaders on U.S. News & World Report’s panel examining issues and solutions to equity challenges in New York and beyond, as part of the magazine’s “The State of Equity in America” series. Titled “The State of Hospital Equity: An Executive Round Table,” the November forum was part of a series that brings together thought leaders and experts from business, government and nonprofits.
The discussion highlighted health disparities among the underserved and ways various entities can work together to improve health equity for New Yorkers and people across the entire United States.
